I’d been struggling with my hearing for a while. It wasn’t anything dramatic at first, just small moments where I found myself asking people to repeat things or turning the volume up a bit more than usual. But over time, it became clear something wasn’t quite right.

When I arrived, the experience was completely different from what I’d expected. I’ve had ear issues in the past and gone through the NHS, which can feel quite clinical and sterile. But here, it was the opposite. The studio felt calm and welcoming. I was invited to sit upstairs in a comfortable chair, and we just had a relaxed chat to go through my medical history and what had been going on.
There was no rush at all. Everything was explained clearly, and I felt completely at ease. Before starting, they took a look inside my ears and showed me exactly what was going on, which I found really helpful. Then they talked me through what they were going to do next.
The treatment itself was incredibly quick, about 30 seconds in each ear, and completely straightforward. Just like that, it was sorted.
The difference afterwards was immediate. Everything sounded clearer again, and I realised just how much my hearing had been affected before.
Now, whenever I notice any build-up, I don’t hesitate, I just go straight back to Alresford Hearing Studio. It’s become my go-to, and I wouldn’t consider going anywhere else.
