In the UK the majority of Hearing Aid providers are national high street chains that are owned by hearing aid manufacturers and therefore have an interest in maximising sales of that particular hearing aid brand which can limit the options given after the Hearing Test.

The Alresford Hearing Studio is an Independent family run business with no financial ties to any particular hearing aid manufacturer meaning we are able to provide a full portfolio of Hearing aids from across the globe to ensure the correct solution for the patients hearing and lifestyle.

Some providers add hearing aids and hearing services as an ‘add on’ the their core business structure – recent years has seen the growth of many large optical chains enter into the audiology world, many of these providers have 1 audiologist covering many sites so the audiologist may only be in the area on certain days limiting the follow up process once a hearing aid has been fitted.

At the Alresford  Hearing Studio we vow to have a fully qualified HCPC Registered hearing professional on site at all times to assist you with any hearing issues.
